Annual reports
In the past, the Electricity Ombudsman and then the Energy Ombudsman annual reports were stand-alone documents. However, over the past few years key data and reporting for the Energy Ombudsman jurisdiction have been included in the Ombudsman Tasmania Annual Report.

Awards
The Energy Ombudsman Act 1998 (Tas) (the Act) gives the Ombudsman the power to make an Award. An Award may require an energy entity to pay compensation or take other action to resolve a complaint.
Under the Act, the Ombudsman can make an Award of up to $20,000, or up to $50,000 with the agreement of the energy entity subject to the Award.
The Ombudsman has made two Awards under section 21(c) of the Act. You can download these Awards using the links below.
