The Energy Ombudsman of Tasmania provides a free, fair and independent dispute-resolution service for electricity and natural gas consumers who have been unable to resolve a complaint with their energy retailer or distributor.

You can contact our office if you have a complaint about your electricity or natural gas provider within Tasmania.

Issues we can look at include:

  • Disputed accounts and high bills
  • Disconnection or restriction of supply
  • Reliability or quality of supply of power
  • Vegetation and easement issues.
